Headband have always been a nice accessory that can complement a lot of outfits. They have always been there, but haven't quite had the popularity they do today. Their new popularity is due to most celebrities now wearing them.



Blair Waldorf, on Gossip Girl, is famous for her headband collection. She seemed to have one for every outfit. Headbands on gossip girl were almost like a status symbol thing. All of Blair's possy wore on. During Jenny's coronation as the new Queen Bee, she was presented with a headband made from swarovski crystals.

Many girls are now buying them or attempting to make their own. The bow on the side is a popular style. I'm currently in the process of expanding my collection. I have quite a few, but I never really wore them all that much. I was never a big headband person because the tips dug into my ears a lot and pushed down on he tips of my glasses. I've decided to give them another chance. So far doing good. I don't have quite enough colors to go with my wardrobe hence the expanding. The two best places I've found are Claires and those shops that you pass by near the exit of H-Mart. I love sparkly hairbands! My mom got me 3 for my birthday from Kohls because they were on clearance. They're made of sequins. One is gold, one is silver, the last one is black which blends into my hair so it's not that great. I've found some other good ones places like Gap (that was a one time thing) or Forever 21. Boutiques are good places.
